Hardwood Orangeries – the modern alternative to conservatories

Hardwood orangeries can be designed for all types of buildings from contemporary to traditional and are often suitable for listed buildings.

Hardwood orangeries make wonderful extensions and are frequently used as kitchens, dining rooms and family rooms. Orangeries are the latest trend and Opus bespoke hardwood orangeries are second to none for quality and design. Take a look at our orangery photo gallery.

Orangeries made of hardwood offer warmth and a high quality finish. Orangeries are generally more substantial than conservatories making them more useable, they may also be cooler in summer and warmer in winter than a conservatory.

Opus hardwood orangeries incorporate one or more lantern roofs letting in plenty of light. For the interior finish hidden lighting can be installed to create a great night time effect. You can specify additions such as under floor heating, tiled floors and air conditioning.

All our orangeries are made from top quality hardwood; we offer bespoke designs dependent on your requirements. We can create designs to complement Edwardian or Victorian buildings and have experience in designing, building and obtaining planning permission for Grade II Listed Buildings.

Whether you live in a period or listed building, country cottage or modern property, please contact Opus Conservatories to discuss your hardwood orangery requirements.
